Moving to Home of the Nomad in 2021 opened up a world of possibilities for Megan to explore her artistic passions. With the encouragement & help of her fellow artists-in-residence, she found the freedom to pursue her ultimate goal—a career as a tattoo artist! Megan’s varied experience in Medical Illustration, Graphic Design & taxidermy have helped her find her niche with The Novelty Collective. She has contributed her artwork to The COVE Art Center, led illustration instruction for our Afterschool students, & served at NoCo events in several capacities. Megan has been connected to The Novelty Collective for a long time, having created a bold logo for The COVE & painted murals for its studios years before moving to Home of the Nomad. Since the summer of 2021, she has been able to dedicate more of her time & energy to partnering with us in our shared vision & has made a significant impact on our community through her many gifts. Throughout Megan's time with us, she has deepened her relationship with our team & other artists in the NoCo family; but most importantly, Megan has been redefining & growing her relationship with Christ. Megan considers the ability to positively affect the lives of others by her God-given creativity to be her crowning achievement since living at Home of the Nomad.
