Day 5, Creatures of the Air & of the Sea (Gen. 1:20-23), is reflected in the Jewelry Studio’s many charms & pendants featuring birds & aquatic animals. But the theme of this room also represents a much higher ideal. By reusing old tables, trays, & fixtures from historic church buildings (such as that The COVE occupies), Brittany Hartman brings new life & purpose to these  carefully-crafted embellishments that once played an important role in  observing the sacraments. Beauty from ashes—all things made new.
